Stonehouse Family Dental Care in Ortonville offers a wide range of dental services and orthodontics for children and adults. Stonehouse Dental also has a convenient location and state of the art facility and equipment.

Our Mission is to provide personalized, quality dentistry for families, as well as general, restorative, implant and cosmetic dental care for many ages with a "state of the art" and modern dental office for traditional and innovative results.

History about Stonehouse:
Ernest & Harriet Dawley gathered rocks from their farm and began building not only a home but a legacy. The family moved into the stone house in 1917 and continued to work on the interior of the home. Eleven children were raised here and countless grandchildren recall childhood memories of days spent playing in and around the stone house.

In September 1997, Alda Barrett, daughter of Ernest & Harriet Dawley, donated a photo of Ernest & Harriet with their home to the house to share the history and this wish for all who enter:

 "May all who enjoy the special character
and charm of the stone house also know
the two who built this home and legacy
for all of us to enjoy".

Our Doctors:

Dr. Navetta was born and raised in southeastern Michigan.  After finishing high school in 1989, he attended Michigan State University and graduated in 1994 with a bachelor's degree in Zoology.  But, more importantly, this is where he met his future wife, Shari!  In the summer of 1994, he loaded a trailer and headed south.  Forty-five minutes later, Dr. Navetta - the Spartan, became a Wolverine.  Dr. Navetta started dental school at The University of Michigan in the fall of 1994 and graduated in May of 1998.  Two weeks later, he married his wife Shari, the future mother of his twin boys, Nicholas and Andrew.  
    
Dr. Navetta has practiced dentistry at the Stonehouse since 2000.  He provides all forms of general dentistry and is dedicated to providing the highest quality care possible.

Dr. Duz graduated from Rochester High School in 1977. His undergraduate work was done at Oakland University and he graduated from the University of Detroit Dental School in 1985. He is a past president of the Rochester Lions Club. Dr. Duz has concentrated studies in orthodontics and now performs limited orthodontic treatment for our patients. Dr. Duz is married with one son and resides in Rochester Hills.
