Our Past
Fitness Things put down roots in 1984 in the childhood of the fitness industry.  Over the next 15 years we experienced many of those same peaks and valleys a parent would endure with seeing a child become a teenager and then a young adult.  During those same years the second generation of a family-owned business was growing, learning, and being formed into adults that could look forward with a vision born of a past.

Our Purpose
We are committed to helping you achieve your goals.  Whether you are equipping a facility or purchasing a single piece for your home, our only purpose is to give you the tools to succeed. What our competition or the media is saying is irrelevant.  Finding that right recipe for what makes your business grow and succeed is your goal and therefore ours as well. Helping you to find the most effective piece of equipment for you as an individual is key to your success in achieving whatever fitness goals you may have.  So that’s what we do. Period.

Our Future
‘The more things change, the more they stay the same’.  Will be as true a statement tomorrow as it is today.  The fitness industry will continue to change as it must to survive.  That we will change with it, there is no doubt.  It’s what has kept us in business for the past 25 plus years and will keep us in business for our third generation to help future fitness enthusiasts attain their goals.
